Gustav Stickley Footstool

Gustav Stickley footstool model #300 first shows up in the 1904 Catalog D Titled “Cabinet Work from The Craftsman Workshops”. This model #300 was soon changed, by 1910, eliminating the through tenons and arched sides. This is in good original finish and signed with the 1904 – 1907 mark with Mr. Stickley’s first name added to the decal. This was to help avoid any confusion with his other brothers companies particularly LJG Stickley as they began using decals as well. LJG Stickley even went so far as to use a decal depicting another wood working tool, a wood clamp. There is a small remnant of the earliest paper. This stool measure 15″ tall x 20″ wide x 16″ deep.
