Arts & Crafts Shop in Buffalo, owned by Otto Heinz (called the Heinz Art Metal Shop in 1906) Brass 4-sided trapezoid fastened at edges by strapwork held on by rivets and curled up at the ends to make the 4 feet. Lid raised in center fastened with piano type hinge, white glass inkwell set into open hole inside. circa 1910, measures 3 1/3” high x 5 1⁄2” square at base original finish worn and dulled over time, no green verdigris, but some some spots of wear, no mark.
