Roycroft Copper Lamp, Model #903

This is a model #903 Roycroft copper lamp with mica inserts, measuring approximately 14″ high by 7″ wide. It represents the later version of this form, distinguished by a lighter-weight copper shade compared to the earlier, heavier examples which were sometimes made without mica panels altogether.

The lamp retains its original Aurora brown finish, which remains in excellent condition, showing only minor signs of age consistent with careful use and preservation.

A classic example of Roycroft’s Arts and Crafts lighting, this piece embodies the workshop’s attention to form, proportion, and honest materials. The patina and warm glow from the mica panels reflect the movement’s emphasis on handcrafted integrity and atmospheric lighting.
