Stenciling was popular during the Arts and Crafts period. Many homes were decorated with stenciling around the top of interior walls, some simple and some very elaborate. This linen has a simple line of repeated flowers done in two colors on a piece of seamed linen 46″ long by 17″ wide. Good condition.
