Rebecca Cauman, Footed Dish

Rebecca Cauman (1882-1964) Arts & Crafts metalsmith- enameller-with stones. 3 1⁄2” high x 6 1⁄2” diameter (bowl) and 3 7/8” diameter base, date: 1920s, copper bowl on foot. The inside of the bowl copper enameled orange-with-speckles inside bowl and decorated around the perimeter with 5 small v-forms, suggesting 5-fold petalled flower. Base is incised with double-lines into 7 panels on base, into which which is set a carnelian (?) in orangey-red complimenting the enamel inside the bowl, signed on bottom. Condition, 2 small wear-marks inside bowl, small patch verdigris on base.
