$5500

Exceptional and rare leaded glass and copper Roycroft lamp, circa 1920-1928, often referred to as a "Dard Hunter design". The glass design is not unlike the work Hunter did at Roycroft prior to 1910 although he probably did not design this lamp, the base design can be attributed to Victor Toothacker. Measures 24" tall by 18" in diameter. Excellent condition, all original.

The frame is Roycroft and made in the manner of the Roycrofters with a visible miter on the front and a lap joint on the back. The frame is holding an illuminated document I presume was produced by a Roycrofter. It is a document that was presented to J. Irvie Hoffman upon his resignation as secretary of the Berks Street Division of the Philadelphia Young Men's Christian Association. Measures 26 1/2" tall x 19 1/2" wide. $1500
