This example of Onondaga Metal Shops has been confused for Gustav Stickley many times. I have seen these at different auctions and shops on and off the web attributed to Gus because of the lack of a signature. The execution is closer to Gustav Stickley than Benedict Studios. After the company was purchased by Harry Benedict the production of these changed slightly and under H B direction were nearly always marked. It measures 20 5/8" in diameter. $2700

Large Liberty and Co. pewter biscuit tin with enamels by Archibald Knox, 1902-1905. Rare version of this form incorporating attractive decorative blue-green enamel plaques. Excellent condition overall with superior definition, and condition of enamel. Marked on bottom “Made in England” above “TUDRIC” above the numbers “0194”. Measure 5 ½ inches tall by 5 ¾ inches square.

Samuell Yellin Metalworkers, Philadelphia, andirons and poker, circa 1920. Wrought iron measuring 30" tall x 11" wide x 20" deep. Yellin is the 20th century's foremost artisan in iron. He started his business in 1909 and he called himself a blacksmith. Others referred to him as a genius, a devil with a hammer in his hand. His business set the highest standards in design and craftsmanship.

This is a fireside coal box probably produced in England during the Arts and Crafts period. It is made of copper plated steel and polished, as they typically were and mounted on four steel casters with wheels. Would be nice next to a fireplace holding kindling wood or paper for starting fires. Measures 15 3/4 inches tall x 20 inches wide x 12 inches deep. $475

Onondaga Metal Shops chest. This may be the largest OMS box I have ever seen. It is beautifully executed. Notice the hardware and how similar they are to Gustav Stickley's oval pulls. Measures 7" tall x 16" wide x 10" deep.

This spectacular example of a signed Benedict Studios plaque is entirely original. It is the closest I have seen to the execution of Gustav Stickley's Spade Plaque. It measures 15 3/8" in diameter.

Fireplace log holder in black iron from the period. Great condition. It has been re-blackened. Measure 13 1/2 inches tall x 26 inches wide x 23 inches deep. $1250
OMS or Benedict fire place cover. Originally this was a cover that fit into the opening of a fireplace that measured 26 1/2" square. I had an oak frame made so that it was free standing. It is hammered copper with and hammered iron frame and now measures 37" tall x 30 1/4" wide x 13" deep. This would look great in front of a large fireplace when not in use. $3000
Gustav Stickley nest of trays. This is quite unusual and in pretty good condition. It has seen a bit of cleaning over the years but it still has nice color and is an interesting table top piece. It would be useful as a coaster set. 4" wide by 5" tall and the diameter of the trays are 3 3/4". $550
Benedict Studios fern dish (large size) 11 ½" X 4 ½" tall. $1150
